GARDEN DESIGN
We create gardens that are harmonious, soulful and sensitive to the landscape they are a part of.
A client-led approach finds us working in a variety of different settings from historic houses and art galleries to architect-led new builds, Miyawaki forests and nature-filled family gardens. The thread that runs through these designs is one which quietly rejoices in the changing faces of a garden throughout the year and across the decades.
Imaginative and endlessly creative, we approach every brief with fresh eyes and energy; tapping into the stories and history of each landscape, house and geographical location to create elegant and enduring gardens that stand the test of time.
HOW WE WORK
Based in Wiltshire, we work across the South West and London - and further afield on occasion. We undertake projects ranging from family gardens to rural art galleries and country homes and often seek out projects with ecological restoration at their heart.
We prefer to work on projects with longevity in mind, collaborating with our clients and their gardeners to develop new environments and enhance existing landscapes and continuing to develop them over the months and years.
As such, we offer a creative development package which includes the option of continued support and design assistance as the garden evolves.
collaboration
Collaboration is a constant theme in our work. Design partners regularly include landscape consultants, ecologists and other experts who can help contribute to a design, installation and helping our client’s gardens thrive well into the future.
We design spaces that encourage people to enjoy the brilliant benefits of spending time in nature and understand that to achieve this we have to understand our clients and their lives. Tabi enjoys spending valuable time with clients and although we sometimes bring other people in to help with projects she always runs each design herself.
Tabi regularly reflects on and explores her practice through writing. As a frequent contributor to the Financial Times and House and Garden, Tabi covers topics ranging from arboriculture and garden design to natural pools and soil health, and is extremely focused on making a positive contribution to the garden design industry - and the wider cultural conversation.
Tabi is a published author and prior to retraining as a garden designer she enjoyed a successful career writing about art, culture and fashion for The Telegraph, Vice, Sunday Times Style and Grazia.
